I listed Jessica's blog (Hi Jessica!) - I wouldn't have done 90% of the things I've done with my kids if it weren't for her blog. Have you actually read any of her posts? Her 100 (mostly free) things to do with kids in the area? Preschools with openings? Birthday party place suggestions? Grand openings of new kid friendly places? Mommy & Me movie lists? Most blogs have advertisements and of course she sponsors movies (who cares, I LOVE the free movie tickets).

I can't believe a mom to see children, one being a brand new baby puts in the time and effort to put her blog out. Her blog is work. Actual work. She also writes for the WaPo on occasion. If you aren't using her blog for the local resource that it is, why make such a stupid complaint about it.

Advertisers most likely see the local reach she has and the do seek her out. Who cares. Between her charity work and the immense amount of info she puts out on local things to do with kids are a few ads really that bothersome?
