I’m so sorry ME. Hopefully the doctors appointment goes well. I took another pregnancy test this morning and I’m pregnant. It’s our first and I’m terrified it won’t stick but for now I’m just staying positive. -CN
Congrats!!! I hope you have a healthy pregnancy. Do try to stay positive and think happy thoughts!! And ME, I’m sorry and hope the Dr offers answers. We’re headed down the RE road in January if these next cycles don’t work. My OBGYN really brushed off my concerns because our first was easily conceived...except I was 33 then and now I’m 39. So frustrating. Jena
Jena, I could have written your post! I posted earlier than I am just now getting positive OPKs on day 31 of my cycle - what the heck! Anyways, making an RE appointment for January. ~EC
You may not want to wait until January. I’m the one who posted about my RE experience. Started testing in September but took a few weeks to get all the tests completed since the day of your cycle matters. I go tomorrow to start first IUI cycle. I would go now and use this time to get the initial testing done then be ready to start cycles in January if needed. Of course I know it depends on your situation, but wanted to share the timing info if it’s helpful!
Interesting...I was thinking January because it will have been six months of trying at that point (I'm over 35). Did that matter for making your appointment? Also, just out of curiosity, did your insurance cover the initial testing? I reasoned that in January, I could pay out of pocket expenses with a HSA, which I can set up now during open season.
