This is such a good point. They always tout their rate of growth, but they will never grow as fast as the rate of decline due to mainstream Catholics leaving the Catholic Church. (I'm tired so I hope this point is clear.) I guess maybe they are OK with that - they want a smaller "purer" church. But someone's got to pay the bills / fill the churches / fill the schools. The whole infrastructure of the church would collapse without the mainstream folks.
