SCOTUS disagrees.

Even the anti-gun Giffords law center correctly recites that SCOTUS found an individual right to own a firearm in DC v Heller.

Prior SCOTUS opinions held that weapons that were proper for mliita use were protected.  This was used to recognize the NFA as being constitutional.
