And that would mean the wife/grandma would have to make a choice.[/quote] +1 I’m not saying it’s right, but psychologically it’s much easier for this family to collectively delude themselves and blame the cruise ship line than to deal with all the emotions and fallout of acknowledging that the grandpa killed the toddler through his utter stupidity.[/quote]
