If you or a loved one ever got hit by a car that was speeding in your neighborhood you would love these cameras.  I would love one in my neighborhood where people speed all the time.

I wonder how OP and you would feel if a car was going 60 in your neighborhood while you were out walking with your kids.  Probably p.o.'d at the driver, right?  [/quote]
What? Are you nuts? I am not ok with people speeding like that, nor people biking recklessly, nor people jay walking... Just because I said, don't do it again and be careful doesn't mean I am all for people speeding! She made a mistake, she is paying for it, isn't that how the legal system works?[/quote]
But you hate speed cameras that would probably force speeders like OP to slow down in residential areas? Why would that be?  I'm all for speed cameras in residential areas where I know people speed all the time. I don't mean 5 miles above the speed limit, but more like what OP was doing.[/quote]
