I assume you are speaking of refugees and not immigrants who are coming on H-1B and student visas.  The immigrants who were coming on H-1B visas and student visas are highly educated. The immigrants coming as refugees fleeing unstable countries mostly are not. [/quote]

Refugees came from over 60 countries in 2018, but the ones in the news being held in the internment camps along our southern boarder are from latin america.

I guess I don't really understand if you are in an environment where you need to flee your circumstances why you would continue to have children. Why would you continue to bring new children into those situations?

What heartbreaking stories has she been seeing?  Who are the refugees she is talking about?  Democratic Republic of the Congo?  Bhutan? Ukraine?  Burma?  Eritrea?
