So you're probably thinking your team could have called in a couple of Alex 09 Red players (from the team that made it to the finals of The Virginian), and it would have been a different story, but what would've been the point of that?

Knowing this was a lower Alex U10 team also paints a pretty good picture of how the game probably went.  Your team kept trying to play it out of the back.  The kids don't have the leg strength yet to get it over the 1st line of pressure, and Coach Dick from BRYC kept the high press on the whole game - channeling his inner Jill Ellis.

With all of that context, I don't blame you for being upset about it.

So a bad team lost all season to other bad teams and they lost another game to a bad team with two good players is a reason to be upset?

Sorry the team is bad right now. Focus on that and stop with making excuses. A team can get better but you'll never get better without taking accountability. [/quote]
