He has NEVER said the Church should allow gay marriage.  What he does say and push the church to do it acknowledge that there are gay members of the church and same sex families.  They need to be part of the church community and not hidden, forgotten or ignored.  These are families just like any other family and they need ministry.  They have children that need pastoral care just like any other Catholic child.  That is a wonderful message to send and truly living a life of Christ.  He can support Buttigieg's marriage and family because he strictly follows: Love one another as I have loved you.

Also, of course he loves Jesuit schools. He is a Jesuit!  They are fantastic.  For 99% of the country outside of the DCUM bubble they don't remember where Kavanaugh went to school or care.  He can support Jesuit schools (why should Dowling in Iowa be tarred by GP?) and not actually be supporting Kavanaugh.  But people are so blinded by their own views that they can't see straight.[/quote]
