We know three of them. Very high-energy and big diggers. Be prepared! Also one family went to a breeder in Canada and the other to one in Washington state, so I think they’re not that easy to find. [/quote]

We have one. Got him in Pa. He is sleeping on the couch right now. We walk him twice a day and take him to the park every other day. He loves playing catch and fetch, gets a long with all the dogs at the park. He is an easy going dog who loves kids. He is not high energy like a border collie, but he will stay out 8 hours with my DD and friends playing in the park. No digging problem or any craziness...he just wants to please people and have a job. My daughter and him are inseparable. When she was sick he just laid beside she all day. He is very protective of the house and her. The breed is wary of strangers. He is very alert. The Italians say this breed sleeps with one eye open. Anyone approaching the house he will let you know. He has a loud bark. This is a great dog. It is the base breed for the poodle, labs and any water dog. They have great eyes.[/quote]
