In your shoes, I'd negotiate both a three-child and two-child rate with your nanny. Enroll your oldest in preschool, and while she is at school, you pay the two-child rate. When she is with the nanny, you pay the three-child rate. That way preschool isn't "on top" of your other child care expenses--it is your child care expense. And your nanny can focus on your two younger children while your oldest is at preschool. Win win. [/quote]
