Why would a mom abandon her child on the 2nd biggest holiday of the year? Why would a woman acting effectively as a single mom turn down hours at work and/or overtime holiday pay? Why would she only text work three days after she disappeared and not check in with her 1-year-old?

You realize mothers do far shittier things to their kids than not being around on Thanksgiving, right? Not saying she ran off but this "but a mother would never...!" thing is nonsense. Mothers do ghastly things to their kids all the time.[/quote]
