[/quote] I think they’ll revisit that policy once President Treason is shown.[/quote] Now that the House is Democrat and impeachment is a possibility, there's always a chance he will be convicted by the Senate. There will be a sizable majority of Republicans, but there are also a lot of Republicans up for office in 2020. I suppose it depends upon how compelling the case Mueller presents. Knowing this, Trump could resign to avoid it, if he thinks he can find a way to prevent post-term prosecution. Or he might ride it out, hoping in a favorable Senate outcome, especially if he decides not to run in 2020 (might buy him votes).[/quote]
