Well, no one is suggesting he be put on the Supreme Court.  Or put in charge of anything outside of his own household.  Silly me—I hold supreme Cout justices to a higher standard for morality and truthfulness than actors.  Maybe Kavanaugh should take up acting. I wasn't asking if he should be put on the supreme court. This was a question about Damon alone. If you like his act without recognizing his hypocrisy, than what business do you have judging someone else? Why can't you just answer the question on Damon alone?[/quote]

I don’t care if actors are hypocritical.  I do care if judges are hypocritical.  I wouldn’t judge Kavanaugh for being a bad actlr, or having bad hair, because that’s not his job.  It’s not Matt damon’s job to be sincere and fair minded, so I don’t judge him on those criteria.  [/quote]

That isn't the comparison. The comparison is Damon's skit to Kavenaugh to decide whether Kavenaugh is fit for the Supreme Court. We aren't comparing the two individuals, just the judgement of his actions in his testimony. If you think Damon is insincere and hypocritical, how can you use his assessment through acting to judge Kavenaugh? How can it have any merit?[/quote]
