We aren't comparing the two individuals, just the judgement of his actions in his testimony. If you think Damon is insincere and hypocritical, how can you use his assessment through acting to judge Kavenaugh? How can it have any merit?

Damon stated in an interview that is someone tried to spread a rumor about a sexual allegation before a movie came out, he'd spend millions and go scorched earth just to clear his name. That statement says that he'd be belligerent to his attackers. So it brings into question why the SNL skit is even relevant if the actor believes he'd behave the same way himself.

the SNL skit was a parody of Judge Kavanaugh‘s job interview for the most prestigious court in our country. Kavanaugh made a fool of himself and Damon played him to a t.

About a week after that comment he apologized and said he needs to sit back and listen instead of running his mouth, which he appears to have been doing... it's possible that he learned something? I get that his apology doesn't fit your argument but it did happen.

Matt Damon said something stupid about the #metoo movement. Then a week or 2 later he apologized and said he needed to sit back and listen for a while. Looks like he did and then come out in a very clever way to show which side he supports.

If there were "big brains on Brett" he would have admitted to drinking too much and not being the best guy to girls short of sexual assault and it would have gone away, but his elitism and bratty behavior will be the only thing anybody will ever remember about him.

But don't worry girl, the Roy Moore supporters will still confirm him. Maybe he can give Roy a job too.

They tried to hang him out to dry because he likes to drink beer. Note, they had no corroborating evidence of a sexual assault. They just wanted to embarrass him about his stupid yearbook and the fact he was a typical high school boy of his time.
