The reality is they pretty much know who they want and the trouts are just for show.[/quote] The only thing they imply is that getting the stick in your hand and practicing before tryouts is a great idea. Nothing more. Depending on what grade you're trying out for, boys 2021 or 2022 for instance, it's true that there is almost never any changes on that team (except two years ago when they added Mitchell's nephew to the team), but if you're interested, nothing wrong with practicing and giving it a shot. I did notice that they didn't even include the HS boys in the pre-tryout camps--so even more indication, I guess, that they really don't see adding players.[/quote]
