We can spin it however we want and make schools the scapegoat, but the fact is that the achievement gap will never be closed by just schools alone. [/b][/quote]

Plus a million. At what point will we realize that what happens at home is the biggest predictor of success. We can sit here and throw all the resources and money to try to fix this problem but the bottom line is there is no way to actually close the gap at its entirety. [/quote]
