There are plenty of schools out there where yearly cost of attendance is less than $25K so Even if the family is full pay you can avoid being six figures in debt by attending those schools. [/quote] Instead of paying for a mediocre school, I much rather send my child to community college, have them work PT and live at home. Then they can go off to a stellar college and graduate with a more prestigious diploma for half the cost as the mediocre. When you take out housing and meal plans junior and senior years, even off site it is cheaper. [/quote]
