Although demographics here may reflect wealth demographics, it is certainly not a race issue. Poor people of any race of similar socio-economic background if placed in such a wealth divided area would cause similar problems. [/quote] That feels right to say but it simply isn’t the truth. As a pp pointed out there are many impoverished Latinos in the region but they commit crimes, especially violent crimes, at a very low rate compared to impoverished blacks.
