You are thinking of Alexandria CITY -- which is not the same as the Alexandria part of Fairfax County.... they are miles away -- this is probably 10 miles from the public housing in the city of Alexandria. Landsdowne/Island Creek are very safe, residential areas just outside of the Ft. Belvoir's Telegraph Road gate. Lots of government professionals and military folks. Very safe.[/quote]
