Your post is confusing. Who is "they" when writing that "it's a miracle when THEY make it to Sunday dinners."

"SHe never tries to get the kids together with me ever on a day [b]my husband [/b]works." Again, do you mean "my son" or are you really referring to the man YOU are married to. If so, it's really confusing.
