They only closed school that one time for record cold temperature, and even Chicago has occasionally closed school for record cold temperatures. Here, when 20%+ of the bus fleet doesn't start, that is when they delay or close schools. They also close schools for ice, but that happens more in 20-30° degree weather rather than record cold.[/quote]
