+1 As another psychic (not the one above), this is the safest way to open up psychically. I would just word it differently. God is within you, and you can only know God's love and protection by totally and unconditionally loving yourself.

If you do not unconditionally love yourself, any "God contact" you have is going to be poisoned by your internal blocks, and it'll actually lead you to dealing with imposter entities and messed up shit. I'm speaking as a long-time practitioner of Hindu Tantra, where we are taught psychic safety and the importance of self-love meditation (similar to Buddhist loving-kindness meditation) as part of our 101 training. Getting a traditional, serious training in psychic work like that really saved my ass. Nowadays I see so many would-be psychics doing intense energy exercises to open their 3rd eye, and years later they are having problems: mental health issues, an inability to resolve their old wounds, and unreliable psychic information.

It's because they don't love themselves. Their self-love is their best friend, their God, their protection, yet they don't have it. Remember: God is not separate from you. If you don't love and forgive yourself, how will you ever experience God's love?

Spend some time on this work, please, before trying to open yourself to psychic experiences. It is extremely dangerous otherwise.[/quote]

I am the one who posted the above and thinking about making a career out of my psychic abilities.  Do you think there's anyway I could give you an email or something and we could have a conversation?  I would dearly love to have another person I could speak to about these things[/quote]
