In fact part of the problem is that I don't think having clubs and groups based on race helps build a united community. That's the case I think at many schools nowadays. I think at one point in time the idea of having clubs and organizations at schools based on race were probably helpful and a great idea. However, now with such a global society and with so many different ethnicities and religions at these schools, it seems impossible to have a group for each ethnicity. Therefore some have them and some do not. It's just an observation that I have made and our family is diverse. I would suggest all schools should have clubs and organizations solely based on interests and not on race to unite students.[/quote]
