Totally agree with you, PP... you bring up very valid points.

I think the reason so many posters are saying that it may be an ED, is because the OP is SO insistent that it's not.
She seems to think that an ED only consists of bulimia & forgets about anorexia, so I think a lot of the PP were just trying to educate her (which it sounds like she needs a LOT of).
I feel awful for her daughter that her mother is refusing to take her to the doctor and OP are you listening??  Your daughter is going to resent you for not taking her, especially if it turns out to be something serious.
