What is the logic behind having a kid take the Stanford Binet and WISC in such a short timeframe. Why isn't one sufficient?
Since he had no other scores (the ones the school gives due to recent move to the county) so when WISC of 147 got rejected I was advised to take SB to cover for the missing school based tests.
What was the score breakdown on the WISC? Is there a notably different subscore?
VCI 142 PRI 145 WMI 138 PSI 128 FSIQ 147 SB is 132 with all sub scores in 130 range.
Don't understand how can FSIQ be higher than all the individual subscore?! I thought FSIQ is a weighted average of the subscores.
This is how it is, the FSIQ is not a very straightforward calculation. You have to know what you are doing that's why is administered by licensed individuals.
