Women's lacrosse is a significantly different game than men's, and the game is evolving incredibly fast. I hope for and wish the coaches and Visi the best, but this is not at all the same scenario as if they stepped in to lead a men's team. It is a stop-gap and a strange situation that Visi admins created here. That cannot be argued. But just maybe it will work?
TR will do a great job and will help each player with personal development skills-wise, with game IQ, and maybe more importantly building the mental toughness to play at the next level. I’ve had a DD play at a high level in college and honestly adjusting to the mental aspect of the game was the hardest in the first year. Many local coaches do not take enough time to get to know players on an individual level, their focus is more on coaching the entire team the same way. A big miss IMO. With his background I believe he will be a tremendous asset to the team and the individual players.
