How old are your kids? If they are very young, then clutch your naïveté if you need to do so for your well-being, and think about how you will talk about your park visit with your kids in the future. If they are not very young, then you need to discuss the situation with them — including how they might feel and how they might handle similar situations in the future, especially if and when they are on their own.  IMO
