Well the truth is there a plenty of people who are unfit to be parents and they cross all demographics. Given what we know about the earth’s population and climate change I think everyone should be on mandatory birth control (boys too), from the age of 9-21. If you want your birth control device removed you must pass a series of psychological and common sense tests (that are culturally sensitive to the region/ country/ village the citizen is in). If you turn out not to be a sociopath then it gets removed. If you prove to be a problem or violent burden to society, the device stays.
WTF?
DP - at first glance PP’s idea seems incredibly, horrifyingly dystopian, but... humans are an effing infestation on the planet at this point. There are too many GD people already, so I don’t think it’s worth outrage at the thought of some barriers to reproduction being implemented to try to keep the absolute dregs from reproducing...
I actually wish there was a safe, effective birth control for both boys and girls that would start around age 10 and would have to be disabled by an active decision. And I wish that this birth control would be standard of care universally--not just for certain groups--kind of like the HPV shots. But for now this idea is a pipe dream. Part of the problem in many poorer areas is there's abundant birth control and everyone knows about it, but the girls see few prospects for themselves and want to get pregnant. Sad but true.
