The “stay home” posters in the travel section.
Well they arent wrong right now. Is travel so important that you would risk your health and others as well?
They also post when the OP clearly says “after the pandemic” or “in two years.” They post automatically after just reading the title. Now that’s annoying.
I don’t understand why folks who are so easily triggered by opposing opinions intentionally subject themselves. -If you don’t want to travel (now or ever), then don’t visit the Travel forum....because—surprise, surprise—people want to discuss topics related to travel. -If you don’t like to discuss diets/exercise, then don’t visit the Diet and Exercise form. -If you don’t want to debate politics, then don’t visit the Politics forum. Stay in your lane and stop spreading your personal misery to everyone else. Or, continue to post and prepare yourself for contrarian points of view. It’s not that difficult....
I'll agree on Travel and Politics, but not on Diet and Exercise. Diet and Exercise is focused on weight loss. If you're interested in special diets unrelated to weight loss, you could probably post in Health and get a reasonable discussion. But if you're one of the many folks interested in exercise but not weight loss, you're pretty much stuck with Diet and Exercise. And there are a lot of crazies on there.
I generally agree with your comment. Folks on Diet and Exercise forum typically motivated by healthy lifestyles (nutrition and exercise). If one of the “obesity is healthy” proponents comes on there, they are going to receive a lot of feedback that will most likely upset them. A lot of posters want to dish out highly opinionated statements, but don’t want to hear an opposing argument. So—in my opinion—be prepared to get triggered if you choose to post.
