It will be interesting to see if a family can be more than 4 to a lane since we are family. If two kids hung out in the deep end playing and mom and dad in the shallow end.
Nope. this is the inanity that is the Phase 2 regulations. In Olivia McCormick's world everyone has to be 10 feet apart in the pool, even if they are related. She insists on that because she thinks the 'business community' requested this. I have heard her make this proclamation on multiple ocassions.
And it’s limited to three, 10’ apart. Go figure. You can hold your child in your lap and kiss his cheek AFTER you get out of the water.
Her explanation was that the business community didn't want the responsibility and felt like it was too much work to expect the pool staff to know who was there together. Which makes sense if you are thinking about commercial pools. Does not make sense for small community pools, where the lifeguards know who is there together.
It’s crazy. I am a board member of our club. We have about 200 families. I could probably recognize members of most memberships. If I can’t it is probably because they don’t go to the pool anyhow. Almost all of our guards belong to the pool.
