They were strangers who illegally took the child.  Dustin is her biological parent.  They took her from him, not the other way around.  I hope no one on here ever goes though something like this with there family.  It is very easy for this to happen to any one of us or our kids or other relatives.[/quote]

Dustin was a stranger to Veronica when he took her, at age 2. Genes relate to genetic material, they have nothing to do with emotional and interpersonal relationships. As with all relationships, those things are build over time. Genes don't make people familiar. [/quote]
