He’s doing damage control. He’s trying to downplay the huge turnover. His email was trying to make it sound like a majority of the staff were leaving for personal reasons. While for a few that’s true, most of them left because of the incompetence of the current administration.

I’m the PP who worked in a school with similar turnover.

The instability will extend into this year. Nothing within a school exists in a vacuum and new teachers will feel it.

When this happened to me, we had 3 years of major turnovers resulting in a disconnected staff with low morale. I finally left, as well.
