My kid did middle school at BASIS (then switched to Walls for social reasons - friends going) and BASIS was a top notch experience. But the school suited my kid - curriculum is no joke, and requires a lot of diligence and attention to detail. But if your kid can handle that - I am confident it is the best (public) middle school in DC and your kid will learn much much more than at a DCPS school.[/quote]
