Marco Rubio has a very short memory. Political power against a political opponent was used very recently in the US when the sitting president used badly needed military assistance to force an ally country to open and publicize a fake investigation accusing his opposing presidential candidate or corruption. I don’t remember Rubio voting to impeach the president who so blatantly misused his power. The same president directed his JD to nominate a special prosecutor to investigate the same political opponents son, a private citizen. Oh, the House leader of Rubio’s party has already said that, as soon as the GOP gets the majority, it will start investigations and public hearings on Biden’s family members as a revenge of the January 6 hearings investigating an attempted coup. So yes, power in the US has been users against political opponents in the US very recently [/quote]
