I think a hothead happened to be a cop and happened to have a gun. I can't imagine having that much firearms training and still managing to decide to pull out a firearm in a public place, then to shoot three people, killing one. The family has verified that he was a probable schizophrenic.  He apparently could drive, cook and at one point had studied Acctg/Finance in college.  He also had posted on Facebook.

I'm not sure when he became nonverbal but that seems to have been a fairly recent development.[/quote]
