If this rumor of 2 clubs is true and not just a fake post on here to stir up talking, then I would think TopHat is at the top of the list. They are in an area that is heavy MLSNext and have not been let in yet. It seems like the clubs in that area have been blocking their admission for years, so they might decide to go the other direction and bring the girls over to ECNL. There's like 4 or 5 MLSN teams in the Atlanta metro already, and they've been keeping TopHat out for years. [/quote]

Spot on.

Tophat boys side and Concorde boys are amongst the strongest ECNL clubs in the country. If tophat boys flipped to MLS Next in alignment with girls academy, that would be the end of ECNL Southeast.

The question now is, do you let one team into ECNL or both? [/quote]
