Where did you hear that Lochte ripped a door off the hinges?

The reports all say that one of them kicked in the bathroom door and broke the soap dispenser and mirror. We have never been told which one did that (though I do find it interesting that only Feigen has had to pay a large sum to charity....makes me thing he made the mess). Reports say that when confronted by the gas station attendant, Lochte pulled down an advertisement poster from the wall and threw it on the ground (which you can see in the video)[/quote]

I'm pretty sure Feigen is paying bc he's the last one left in Brazil. The other 2 hadn't given statements before so they couldn't be held for making contradictory statements. As soon as they spoke on Thursday, they were allowed to leave and landed in Miami this morning. Apparently Conger and Bentz said that RYAN is the one who got stupid in the bathroom. Ryan isn't there to pay, conveniently Feigen had tried to cover earlier with a false story -- so Feigen gets to pay. [b]Hope Ryan will be reimbursing him[/b].[/quote]

Didn't even think about that -- new tickets from Brazil to Miami this morning and then domestic tickets to get from Miami to their hometowns all bought last minute. Plus an extra night's hotel for Conger and Betz once they got pulled off of the Wed. flight. Not to mention Feigen who has been in a hotel since all the swimmers left the village on Tuesday. It's possible that IOC or USA Swimming or a lawyer put down a credit card for them but in that case, I fully expect them to be getting a bill ASAP.

I know he's a party bro and doesn't care, but the swimming world is small and if he intends to compete or even go to competitions again, he WILL run into these 3 guys. All 3 are just starting out in their careers and 2 are just in college so they'll be around the circuit for a while. What's he going to say?? Jeah bro wasn't it funny how the Brazilian cops went nuts just bc we messed up their gross bathrooms, so glad I changed my plans to leave a day early!!

I think the only way he can make it right with these 3 guys (though he prob doesn't care) is to reimburse Feigen the 11k, pay for the lawyer(s) used by Feigen and the other 2, and pay for all of their flights/hotels/meals for their additional stay.[/quote]
