Umm ...  undocumented immigrants who are hired by generally used forged documentation, pay into Social Security and are subject to federal and state withholding.  The same is true for immigrants who are overstaying their visas.  As for stealing jobs, low paying jobs as maids, custodial workers, construction cooks, dishwashers, and agricultural and livestock industries are t in high demand among citizens.  [/quote]

Not so fast.  The undocumented do the constuction jobs Americans aren't willing to do for lowered wages and little or no job protections.  It's a shame for roofers and general construction workers that they don't need licensure like plumbers, electricians, etc. so their trades weren't driven to below middle-class wage earning status.[/quote]
