What did Newsom do with all the homeless in San Francisco before Xi Jingping's arrival?  The streets were hosed clean too, smth residents of the city were waiting for for so many years.  SF was noticeably cleaner (even though skid row of Tenderloin has returned back) when I visited and residents love this part.

Funny how we put our foot forward to impress foreign leaders while ignoring improving QOL of the tax paying residents, isnt' it? And nobody made a peep about where all these homeless were relocated and how they maybe didn't want to be snatched off the streets without due process.  People asked questions, I remember, but no outrage. [/quote]
