What did Newsom do with all the homeless in San Francisco before Xi Jingping's arrival? The streets were hosed clean too, smth residents of the city were waiting for for so many years. SF was noticeably cleaner (even though skid row of Tenderloin has returned back) when I visited and residents love this part.

Funny how we put our foot forward to impress foreign leaders while ignoring improving QOL of the tax paying residents, isnt' it? And nobody made a peep about where all these homeless were relocated and how they maybe didn't want to be snatched off the streets without due process. Mugging being normalized and us taking it for granted is a horrible crime.

Who is normalizing it?

It's their talking point every time we try to say it's not worth the federal response, they say we're normalizing it. It's an easy distraction from the main argument which is National Guard and the FBI do not belong policing the streets for this kind of crime
