Weren’t we repeatedly told that Israel is a democracy? Netanyahu is upholding what Israelis want and what the American Jews backing Israel want.

As for the the survey above, that's a eye-catching headline but it's just one look at a very complex situation. Just like the US, Israel is a complex place and no single survey can tell the whole story. Take some time and look at the protests, many of which have been going on for months, the op-eds, the statements by opposition leaders, etc. Plenty of Israelis know the difference between right and wrong and are demanding that their government hear their voices.[/quote]
