No I disagreed with them because I didn't think the image was racist and probably neither did they, but they were too afraid of the woke movement to just forget about it. And it probably wouldn't have hurt their brand because those people probably already were not buying their books. Confirming my opinion Ebay dropped those books too today, which really is bad for their brand because people go there to buy all sorts of old crap that other people don't approve of, far worse stuff than Dr. Seuss. So I have my reasons, which you knew nothing about. You didn't ask. Of course you didn't. Nobody does. You just called me a name and explained to me some old platitudes about business for the umpteenth time, as if that were my "real" problem. So if you think my problem is something else rather than exactly what I say, then I'll say your problem is something else too. Your quest for power to stop me from saying it. And I'll say that until you realize the futility of calling other people idiots to their face every time they open their mouths.
The bolded is the problem.
Yes, that's my point. They dropped the book. I never said they couldn't. But everyone is really upset that I have different opinion about what is racist or not. They can't tell me why it's bad to simply have my own opinion about something. So they call me names. And make up reasons for me to have that opinion because they can't stand that I might have made up my own mind. Just like they think they did.
Hon, the image is racist. If you don't think it is, that's on you.
