What value does it add to your DD if you are already rostered on a non-Metro team. If you are rostered on a Metro team for next year, then you've been part of the discussion and wouldn't be asking like this.[/quote]

New coaches from out of state will be assigned. Players will have to report to an assigned coach.
Not sure why there is so much negativity re: MU

Spirit VA was a new club so it had initial issues attracting talent, things will drastically improve from here on out.
U14/U15 teams have drastically improved as the gals are getting used to how each other play.

Please stop the MU bashing.

Metro United (MU) other than holding ID sessions for next season has not even begun yet.

I think the fairest assessments of MU next year will be 1) Do their teams next year continue to improve compared to WS this year? (eg U14 WS VA becomes U15 MU) 2) Do their older players continue to have success in the college placement arena? (Ultimately this is more important than rankings/tournament championships or pathway to pros/national teams for most.)[/quote]

The college placement isn't too relevant considering the 18/19s came in at the 16/17 age groups and were already being recruited by interested teams.

You'll have to look at the 15s & 16s to really tell, but with recruiting slowing down due to the new rules, we won't know for another year.[/quote]
