No we'd still be here.  If Reid hadn't done it, McConnell would have and he knew it too.  McConnell was already abusing the filibuster all over the place, and Reid asked him repeatedly to stop.  Don't be a fool.  You like McConnell politically and that's fine, but don't pretend he is not a total asshole.  Reid was pretty dickish too, honestly.
