What would invading Iran do to hurt Hamas? Next to nothing. Hamas is on the top of the largest Arab country in the world, Egypt with the most global connections, one of the busiest sea and airports. It’s almost like the blockade Israel has is pointless so long as Hamas has tunnel access to Egypt. Let’s not repeat the mistake of Iraq. Saddam had nothing to do with Al Qaeda or 9/11 and Iran has nothing to do with 10/7 or Hamas besides nominal support in name only. Israel knows this. Hamas are also all Sunnis unlike Hezbollah who are Shiite Muslims just like the Iranian government. There’s no kinship there for them to financially help Hamas. Egypt, Turkey and Qatar, Sunni states and Israeli allies , have provided much more actual help to Hamas and Israel knows about it. The problem Israel has is Turkey is in NATO. Qatar is an US ally with an U.S. air base there and so is Egypt, that’s also an important US base . Hamas are only minutes away from the Suez Canal so Israel’s blockade has obviously been Meaningless to them and their ways to circumvent that blockade. They’ve befriended those specific countries in the Me on purpose because Israel can’t invade Qatar or Turkey without problems the way it can Lebanon or Jordan for example
