It’s actually because of Netanyahu’s decade long obsession with Iran that Hamas got neglected for all these years, since 2009-2010.

Hamas are also all Sunnis unlike Hezbollah who are Shiite Muslims just like the Iranian government. There’s no kinship there for them to financially help Hamas. Egypt, Turkey and Qatar, Sunni states and Israeli allies , have provided much more actual help to Hamas and Israel knows about it. The problem Israel has is Turkey is in NATO. Qatar is an US ally with an U.S. air base there and so is Egypt, that’s also an important US base . Hamas are only minutes away from the Suez Canal so Israel’s blockade has obviously been
