Big pickup for Girls Academy in Northeast PA. Penn Rising coming out of the LVU + Hex Dominion consolidation gives GA exactly what it’s been missing in that corridor a true, unified player pool with real scale behind it. Instead of talent being split across multiple clubs, you now have one program pulling from the entire Lehigh Valley, both clubs already had strong coaching, structure, and culture, so this isn’t a rebuild, it’s a plug-and-play addition with credibility.

From GA’s perspective, this is the kind of move that actually strengthens the league footprint. It creates better travel matchups with PA/NJ/Philly clubs, and adds a player pathway that’s clearly aligned on both the boys side (MLS Next) and now the girls side. Overall, this feels like a smart, strategic add that should stabilize and elevate the level of competition in Northeast PA pretty quickly.[/quote]
