This totally left-biased article is from 2019, you bozo.  Since then, Trump has indeed been pushing E-Verify.  In the HR-2 Border Bill, E-Verify is mandatory.  Remember, Biden didn't lift a finger to secure the border until he received not only negative press, but also major pushback from both Republicans AND Democrats.

Prior to Trump you were fiscal conservatives, now you accept massive deficits due to tax cuts and Trump's spending
Prior to Trump you were hawkish on foreign policy, now you are isolationist and fearful of military intervention
Prior to Trump you viewed Russia as a geopolitical foe, now you are conciliatory
Prior to Trump you saw NATO as a cornerstone of foreign policy and defending our interests, now you don't
Prior to Trump you were in favor of global free trade with China, now you want tariffs
Prior to Trump you wanted checks and balances on executive power, now you want to expand the President's power for Trump
