It would have been fine to oppose building at Blake Lane. But Frisch wanted to impress his friends by putting the final nail in the coffin by taking money that had already been earmarked for a school in Fairfax/Oakton and reallocating it to Dunn Loring instead.

It’s a giant boondoggle. It means that if a new school is needed in Fairfax/Oakton at any point they’ll have to wait many decades. It means that boundaries for multiple ES in the Marshall pyramid that aren’t even overcrowded will have to be adjusted to backfill Dunn Loring.  It means that $60M that could have funded an addition to other schools attended by students in Frisch’s district won’t ever be available for that purpose. He could have held a giant bonfire and just burned $60M and it would have been less disruptive.

The guy is a total jerk, and anyone who gives him another term just because they think his opponent isn’t supportive enough of gun control advocates like MDA is missing the plot.  Vote him back into office and you will absolutely deserve the mess he’s already creating for you. [/quote]
